Car Description:
2022 Outback Wilderness was picked up new on September, 2022.
Mod number 1 and 2 went on with only 11 miles clocked (Nameless strut tower brace and axle back section of exhaust). The plan was to mod only the suspension mostly and add to the off road capabilities but that plan went out the window a couple dozen mods ago.
I have started to push the limits of how many mods will fit. Had to modify the bumper winch mount to fit Perrin CVT oil cooler. Cut off 1" of pinch weld to stop tire rubbing due to wheel spacers. Custom tire mount to fit bigger spare. Custom AOS bracket to fit strut tower brace. Had to move ARB compressor to trunk to make room for AOS. Custom fit nameless exhaust hangers to allow for 2" subframe drop with GZ lift. Still working on getting the last few custom modification finished in time for this years WBM. This has left little time for photo shoots of the finish vehicle. More pictures to come as modifications are completed.
In addition to going to car shows, this vehicle gets stress tested. This has create the battle of wanting more lift each time I go out in the forest/mountains. Started with just the Ironman (had the suspension before owning car). Then added 1" spacers to Ironman. Now just upgraded to Raceworks GZ suspension with 3.5" of lift and I am already planing on adjusting the GZ up another 0.5-1".
Always learned how to fix cars from my dad, but this was the first vehicle I ever started modifying. Never realized how addictive modifying a car can be.
