I bought this car 9 years ago knowing nothing about cars and wanting a WRX, but at the time they were out of my price range. I’m the second owner as an older couple bought it new in 2009 and used it in CT during the summer and drove it down to FL for the winter. It’s essentially rust free aside from the surface rust from when I daily drove the car for a year and a half. When I blew the motor (and then the transmission after the new motor was put in) that’s when my knowledge of Subarus and cars in general, started being exciting and fun. I built this car as a driver's car - with the help of Torquesteer Autoworks out of Wallingford, CT, and Total Auto in Waterbury, CT. It has rock chips, surface scratches, and the engine bay could use some cleaning - but I truly wouldn’t have it any other way. Cars are meant to be driven and this car is an embodiment of that. It currently pushes 370whp and 360tq. I’ve come to learn that the facelifts, especially in Satin White Pearl, are harder and harder to come by.
